Artists Statement
My inspiration comes from my own experiences and the world around me. It is manifested in my work's structure, color and forms, which are largely created on the spot without rehearsals, sketches or plans. In the tradition of abstract expressionists, I consider the act of painting a part of a work's content. I use a variety of materials and techniques in each painting, giving special attention to three-dimensional effects to describe moods and situations.
